Lara Yuzefovych
Hello! I'm Lara Yuzefovych, a watercolor artist from Ukraine. I was born and studied in Kyiv, but Canada has been my new home since 2023.
I have a Master's Degree in Economics and a Bachelor's in Marketing. For 20 years, I worked as a Business Analyst on IT projects. Additionally, I obtained commercial diploma in Interior Design while overseeing the construction of my own villa, allowing me to manage the design process and undertake projects for friends.
Throughout my life, I've studied and practiced various mediums and techniques, including oil, acrylic, pencil, pastel, and watercolor. Over the past five years, I've dedicated my energy and passion to watercolor art, earning diplomas of participation in numerous Ukrainian and international contests, exhibitions, festivals, plain-airs, master classes, courses, and projects.
I'm a member of the Kyiv Plain Air Artist Community, which promotes watercolor art in Kyiv and organizes performances in the city, including the annual exhibition at the UNESCO-listed historical reserve, Sophia Kyivska.
In 2024, I became a member of IWS Canada, representing Alberta, and I look forward to contributing to Canadian art scenes through festivals, demonstrations, exhibitions, and more.
